Saturday 17th April 2010 @ 12pm start
Ladies and Gentlemen,
Welcome to 2010, a fantastic new decade. A decade where we laugh in the face of fitness, we turn our backs on common sense, and we give health and safety a well earned holiday.
Already billed as one of the biggest events of the sporting calendar this year, the 10 by Thames returns in its second year bigger and better than the last (although technically in all aspects it remains the same).
For those who experienced the “noughties” and who succumbed to facebook, you may see last year’s evidence in action.
To enter this year’s event, you must raise or contribute at least £50 (or more if you can) to our online link. To confirm your attendance, please log on and deposit £10 with your name followed by “2010 hero”. You can fundraise the remaining £40 and deposit at your leisure.
Race shirts will be provided, as will a free DVD of the event, and I will negotiate as much free beer as possible from the pubs in advance.
This year, we are raising money for Rays of Sunshine. They turn dreams into reality for children with serious or terminal illness. It’s a great, cause. And you are great people. It is your destiny.
Get amongst it, be part of history.
10km, 10 pubs, 10 pints, 2010.
