Our Mission

Hi everyone, and thank you for visiting our site!
Our mission is to raise £25,000 by cycling unassisted, over 25,000 km from Twickenham Stadium, to the 2011 Rugby World Cup in Auckland, NZ.  On the way to our destination, we will be visiting schools, clubs, players and fans of the sport, telling the story of rugby union across the globe. We are leaving from Twickenham on May 1st 2010.

We are raising money for Rays of Sunshine, a UK children’s charity which turns dreams and wishes into happy memories for children with serious and life threatening illnesses. They also provide equipment and medical assistance to the children and their families. This year, they aim to grant a wish a day and are launching a week for wishes on 17th May 2010.
We only need to raise £1 per kilometre of pedalling to reach out target. Which kilometre will you sponsor and whose dream can you make come true? Please click on our Just Giving link on the left sidebar to donate.

We hope you enjoy the ride!

  1. Hi Tom and Jodie

I’d be really interested in featuring an article about your challenge in a future edition of IslingtonNow magazine.

If you’re up for it, could you drop me a line at islingtonnow@islington.gov.uk

Thanks, and I hope to hear from you soon.
